Casa Capitão , a new cultural space that brings together different contemporary artistic expressions from Lisbon, opened between September 19th and 21st at Unicorn Factory Lisboa - Beato Innovation District.

Three days of celebration and memorable activities, henceforth perpetuated in an agenda full of talent integrating music, word and speech, thought and debate, visual and performing arts, training and creation, audiovisual and new media, gastronomy, design and fashion. 

The building, formerly the residence of the Director of the now-defunct Military Maintenance, is now, after rehabilitation works, distributed across different areas dedicated to cultural programming, catering and leisure, and spaces – concert halls, galleries, courtyard, restaurant, terrace and multi-purpose areas – designed to host artistic proposals of various scales and formats, with programming designed for all audiences.

Casa Capitão is a space of freedom, critical thinking, and inclusion, welcoming diverse artists, creators, and audiences, valuing artistic freedom, attentive listening, and collaborative work, complemented by programming projects with their own identity such as Quiosque and Baile a Mesa.
