The Product Festival returns to Praça Beato , this time to celebrate one of the richest ingredients in Portuguese gastronomy: lamb . Curated by journalist Edgardo Pacheco, this edition brings together the prestigious Chef Vítor Sobral and the producer Pasto Alentejano , in an authentic experience that connects producers, chefs and consumers .
Lamb: tradition, flavor and innovation
Lamb meat has been appreciated throughout the centuries, but it remains unknown to many. This event aims to demystify preconceptions and showcase its versatility and gastronomic richness. To this end, Chef Vítor Sobral, one of the great names in Portuguese cuisine – who this year celebrates 40 years of his career – has prepared an exclusive 6-course menu, highlighting the different cuts and flavors of lamb.
Some of the delicacies you will be able to try: Lamb tartare, mustard caviar, chives and hazelnuts or Lamb and chickpea stew with regional sausages.
In addition to the tasting, it will be possible to buy selected cuts of lamb directly from the producer Pasto Alentejano, a family business in Sousel, in the heart of the Alentejo region, which has become a national and international benchmark in the sustainable breeding of lambs.
