The Lisbon 5L literary festival is an initiative of the Lisbon City Council that simultaneously celebrates Language, Literature, Books, Bookstores and Reading.

In its fifth edition, in 2025, the Lisboa 5L festival proposes the theme Innovation: Utopia / Dystopia.

During the 5th, 9th, 10th and 11th of May, the festival aims to be a literary meeting point that brings together enthusiasts and skeptics to reflect on technological development, experimentation, inventiveness, change and disruption.
