Innovation Strategy for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, presented on June 30th at the Beato Innovation District
The Innovation Strategy for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area will be presented on June 30th, starting at 10:00 AM, in room Cookie 2 of the Factory Lisbon building located in the Beato Innovation District - Unicorn Factory Lisboa.
The Strategy, developed by NOVA IMS - Information Management School, in conjunction with the Lisbon Metropolitan Area and its 18 municipalities, also involved the collaboration of a group of innovation experts and reflects an ambition shared by all stakeholders: to build a more cohesive, innovative metropolis, prepared for the challenges of the coming decades.
The aim was to demonstrate the urgency of developing cross-cutting projects within a metropolitan innovation system, in collaboration with representatives of public entities responsible for planning and managing innovation policies, higher education institutions, the business sector, R&D and technology institutions, competitiveness clusters, and other relevant actors, as is the case in other European metropolitan regions.
In addition to the presentation of the Innovation Strategy, the program includes a roundtable discussion on regional innovation systems and a showcase of innovative projects from the region.
