Web Summit, resident in the Beato Innovation District, will hold events in Lisbon until 2028

At the press conference held on November 13, 2024, the CEO and co-founder of Web Summit, Paddy Cosgrave, reinforced the celebration of an agreement with the Portuguese State for the event to take place until at least 2028.

After reflecting on how "Lisbon has transformed itself in the last nine years" and that the city has all the ingredients to continue hosting the Web Summit in the Portuguese capital, Paddy Cosgrave states that the Web Summit "is a perfect fit for Lisbon" and that he hopes it will stay "forever.".

Web Summit, currently based in the Beato Innovation District, has its international team located in the Factory Lisbon building, from where it operates worldwide, organizing Web Summit Lisbon, Rio, Qatar and Vancouver, Collision in Toronto, Rise in Hong Kong, Surge in Bangalore, MoneyConf in Dublin, and other initiatives.
