Roast Suckling Pig and Sparkling Wine Festival

On March 7th, Praça Beato will host three of Bairrada's most renowned suckling pig roasters and a bar with over 40 certified sparkling wines, for a day dedicated to tasting, discovering, and sharing at the table.

A rare opportunity to taste different styles of suckling pig in a single space — from sandwiches to tasting portions and takeaway options — while exploring the various sparkling wine profiles of the region, by the glass or bottle.

This festival was created to offer something rare: the opportunity to taste suckling pig from different renowned restaurants in the Bairrada region, all in one day and in the same place, and to form your own opinion.

There will be samples available for comparative tasting, more generous options to take away, and also sandwiches, rissoles, and suckling pig pies. In between, there will be talks and workshops for those who want to learn more about this iconic duo of Portuguese gastronomy and the diversity of grape varieties, styles, and profiles of Bairrada sparkling wines.
