Opening on May 31st as part of the upcoming Praça Fest promoted by Praça Beato, the exhibition Identity & Community – Impression Expression, resulting from the partnership between Slash Arts and Estúdio de Arte, is an art show that explores universal identities and gives visibility to artistic work developed in the context of psychosocial rehabilitation, addressing themes such as mental health, inclusion, and citizenship.

This partnership resulted in this traveling exhibition, which premiered at the São João de Deus Museum - Psychiatry and History and is now on display from May 31st to June 15th at the Beato Innovation District, and will soon be shown in London.

The works are the result of residencies that seek not only to give visibility to the artistic work carried out by the participants of the Art Studio, but also represent pioneering initiatives in the fields of mental health, social inclusion and citizenship. The works produced reflect a community of unique individuals, but they can also represent many of us; they are universal identities.
