April Festivals

April Festivals

The April Festivals celebrate the return of the sun, the flowers, good cheer, the desire to leave the house and do things with friends and family. From theater to reading, including walks through the city and conversations, freedom and the paths that led to the construction of Democracy are celebrated.

In the Beato Innovation District, you can take a behind-the-scenes look at the military garrison and have the opportunity to learn about the history and workings of the former Mill Military Maintenance "Grain by grain we get to flour"

Furthermore, two unmissable shows. Herman & Quarteto presents, at a breakneck pace by Herman José, the characters Feliz&Contente, Serafim Saudade, Tony Silva, Maximiana, José Esteves and Nelo, crossing paths with hilarious career stories and unforgettable musical hits such as Saca o saca rolhas, Canção do beijinho or Vamos lá cambada.

Preparing their debut album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2026, Os Vizinhos, a band from Évora that has won over audiences with songs like Pôr do sol (Sunset), Pobre ex-namorado (Poor Ex-Boyfriend) and their most recent, Casar é para esquecer (Getting Married is for Forgetting), will offer another live performance full of camaraderie and good friends at Beato Innovation District.
